Organization conducted survey, focus group discussion through PRA, REFLECT circle and observed that the status of pro-poor services in urban area is insufficient and implementation of the existing services is extremely poor. It has planned to uphold the issue of Human Rights of these populations who are not only unaware about the issue of rights rather have been deprived and became victims of situation. Right Track initiated is work in 6 wards of Kolkata Municipal Corporation and 18 wards of Maheshtala Municipality covering 48 urban slums. Among the population issues of children and women were focussed as they always become victims of all sorts of atrocities and easy prey to all kinds of adverse situations. The issue of having a birth certificate of all children was raised followed by immunization, basic health care services, benefits under food security schemes, ensuring education for all children etc. In context to women rights, ration cards, voter cards, dignity of women in family with addressing the issue of domestic violence etc. were addressed.
