Elementary Education

Right Track prioritizes elementary education as a foundational pillar for long-term social transformation. The organisation works to improve access, retention, and learning outcomes among children from marginalized communities through community schools, remedial education, and bridge courses. Special emphasis is placed on first-generation learners and out-of-school children, ensuring their mainstreaming into formal education systems. By combining academic support with parental engagement and school linkage, Right Track addresses both learning gaps and systemic barriers to education.

Right Track began with a strong focus on inclusive education for underprivileged, street, and working children, successfully mainstreaming them into formal schooling systems.

Key Interventions

• Establishment of community schools and residential schools
• Creation of Children’s Satellite Points in urban slums
• Implementation of remedial education and bridge learning
• Adult literacy programme (Purna Saksharta) covering 42 villages in Bankura with 1,680 women learners
